Find out how we are putting corporate
responsibility into action in South Downs
Veolia takes corporate and social responsibility seriously and is involved with a number of local organisations to help improve community facilities and foster good relationships.
Come and see what happens to your waste
School children can now find out about waste and all sorts of materials that end up in the bin that could be recycled, thanks to Veolia's new Schools Pack. The aim is to get Kids thinking about where things need to go to be recycled or reused instead of throwing it away. With the real challenge being how to Reduce your waste, the ‘lets go shopping’ game shows children how to buy things with less packaging. Getting kids Waste Wise helps us all recycle and of course they will be our recyclers of the future!

This year an impressive 17.5 tonnes of paint has been recycled by Veolia who have recently formed a partnership with New Life Paints Ltd a company based in Ford, West Sussex who reprocess waste water-based paint back into a premium grade emulsion.
Paint for the scheme is collected at the 14 Household Waste Recycling Sites’ operated by Veolia on behalf of East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council. Members of the public can hand paint to any member of the site staff.
