Please note that Brighton HWRS will be closed on Thursday 19th July for essential maintenance work. We would encourage people to use the site on another day instead, or if necessary then to use the Hove HWRS, Off Old Shoreham Road, Hove BN3 3TW. This is a one day closure only and Brighton HWRS will be open as normal again on Friday 20th July.
Household Waste Recycling Site Update: Snow Closures
Heathfield Household Waste Recycling Site (HWRS) will be closed on Wednesday 7th February all day for essential maintenance works.
To mark National Recycle Week next week (25 September to 1 October), residents across East Sussex and Brighton & Hove are being invited to come and see ‘what goes around comes around’ at Hollingdean Materials Recovery Facility’s Annual ‘Wonder’ Open Day.
Veolia in partnership with East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council are encouraging residents to ‘go green’ and recycle your ‘eggstra’ Easter packaging.
