Come and learn about the world of waste with Veolia!

Veolia Environmental Services will be showing kids how they can help turn waste back into a useful resource and some of the science behind the magic of recycling. There will be working models and games for children (and adults!) to get involved, and prizes for the best recyclers!

The Brighton Science Festival Bright Sparks Family Fun day is being held at Hove Park Upper School, Neville Road, Brighton on Saturday 15th February from 10am – 4pm.  There will be a wide variety of activities and expertise on hand with demonstrations to capture the imagination of all age groups young and old!

Allan Key General Manager for Veolia Environmental Services South Downs said: “Our aim is to get everyone thinking about waste and viewing it as an opportunity and not something you just throw away.  It is about getting involved, challenging yourself, and doing your bit by recycling.”

Veolia Environmental Services South Downs has a 30 year contract for the delivery of an integrated waste management service across East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.  Working in partnership with both East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council, it is committed to providing a sustainable approach to managing the area’s household waste.
