If your thoughts turn to a spot of gardening - now that the weather is hopefully warming up again, why not try Veolia’s Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner? To celebrate National Compost Awareness Week (4-10 May), throughout the month of May Veolia is offering five bags of Pro-Grow for £10 from any South Downs Veolia Household Waste Recycling Site.
Pro-Grow is the end product of green (and food waste from the Lewes District) waste that is recycled and collected in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove and is taken to the Woodlands In-Vessel Composting Facility in Whitesmith, East Sussex. It then goes through a highly controlled process which takes around eight weeks to turn the green garden waste in to a top quality soil conditioner.
It is the perfect top soil improver for perennial and annual planting beds, you can use it to establish lawns where native soils are unsuitable and as backfill to encourage plant establishment and improve survival rates. Pro-Grow is available at all of the 14 Household Waste Recycling Sites.
Earlier this year Veolia was announced as the largest composting company in the UK. And our range of products continues to grow as we launch a new addition to the PRO-GROW collection please visit www.pro-grow.com to view the full range of products.
To celebrate spring time, Pro-Grow now has launched peat-free Multi-Purpose Compost in easy to carry 10L baby bags. Our Multi-Purpose Compost contains a careful blend of ingredients providing the perfect growing conditions for a wide range of plants.
Allan Key, General Manager for Veolia South Downs says: “Many people use the spring time for a good tidy up in the garden and we want to encourage residents when visiting their local Household Waste Recycling Sites; to try Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner which has been recognised as one of the leading soil improvers industry-wide.”
